To open the season with elegance, Paysages intérieurs brings together three major names in choreography: Jean Christophe Maillot, William Forsythe and Aszure Barton. The evening promises a sensitive journey through movement, between virtuosity, abstraction and contemporary intensity.

Presented at the Palais Garnier, this programme is ideal for spectators who wish to experience dance in its most Parisian setting. The announced duration is 1 hour 50 minutes with one interval, with indicative prices from €30 to €165. The performance on October 16, 2026 will be preceded by the Défilé du Ballet, a rare moment much anticipated by dance lovers.

LA CLÉMENCE DE TITUS: MOZART IN THE SETTING OF GARNIER

Dates: November 24 to December 25, 2026, Palais Garnier

With La Clémence de Titus, Mozart unfolds a work of great musical nobility, shaped by the themes of power, forgiveness and loyalty. At the Palais Garnier, this score takes on a highly theatrical dimension, perfect for a winter evening in Paris.

More intimate, more dramatic, Katia Kabanova by Leoš Janáček is intended for those who love psychological works, inner tensions and moving female destinies. It is an opera of moods, atmospheres, silences and sudden surges.

Scheduled at the Palais Garnier in the heart of winter, this title promises a powerful evening, less obvious than the great classics, yet deeply memorable. For curious spectators, it is one of the performances to book early.

Scheduled in the heart of winter, this title promises a powerful dramatic experience, carried by the strength of the orchestra and vocal ensembles. A reliable choice for lovers of the Italian repertoire.

WERTHER: FRENCH ROMANTICISM

Dates: February 11 to March 12, 2027, Opéra Bastille

With Werther, Massenet created one of the great operas of restrained emotion. Inspired by Goethe, the work explores desire, renunciation, melancholy and impossible love with a delicacy that feels distinctly French.

It is an ideal choice for a more romantic evening, less monumental than Turandot, yet just as moving. For a couple staying in Paris, the experience feels natural: a great opera of love, a winter evening, then a return to the lights of the city.

DON GIOVANNI: MOZART, BETWEEN SEDUCTION AND VERTIGO

Dates: January 28 to June 24, 2027, Opéra Bastille

Don Giovanni remains one of Mozart’s most fascinating operas: at once a dark comedy, a metaphysical drama and the portrait of a seducer in flight. The work crosses the centuries without losing any of its power of attraction.

At the Opéra Bastille, the production unfolds over 21 performances, with an announced duration of 3 hours 20 minutes with one interval. A beautiful option for visitors who wish to plan their evening well in advance, especially in spring.

 

CONCERTS AND MIDDAY MUSICAL MOMENTS
for a more intimate interlude

 

The new season is not only about grand evenings. The Paris Opera also offers shorter formats, perfect for experiencing the spirit of the house without devoting an entire evening to a complete opera.

The Midis musicaux at the Palais Garnier allow guests to discover the musicians of the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Paris in a format of around one hour. One of these events is notably announced for May 2, 2027 at 12 noon, at the Palais Garnier.

It is a precious idea for a cultural stay in Paris: a musical interlude during the day, before lunch in the neighbourhood, a walk towards the Grands Boulevards or a return to the hotel between two appointments.

WHAT TO BOOK AS A PRIORITY
